This Part 1 covers Usul al-Fiqh (The Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence) and comprises Sections 1-4. This is the section that details how rules of law and jurisprudence are inferred and extracted from their Islamic sources, including the sources of evidence, and tools for interpretation.
